Wigan 1878 - 1978
The publication was produced in 1978 before the "Internet" and was probably the first images most of the Wigan public had viewed of the town's history. Most of the images contained in this publication are now widely available via local facebook groups.
The booklet was published by Wigan Library Services also contains some interesting details on the history and advancements of the Service and buildings
