All about Wigan Pier

The following was extracted from a Wigan Council document prepared in the 1980's and records the history of the Pier and adjacent buildings.

Over the years, there have been several initiatives to revive the area however, in 2025, there is much work to be undertaken to revive and find a use for this historic site.
